Our Mission

UNIQUE’s five key missions are to:

• Bring together leading AI and Neuroscience researchers in a dedicated multi-institutional research initiative.

• Unravel biological intelligence and boost machine intelligence, through joint exploration of their common principles.

• Spearhead research in the Neuro-AI discipline in Québec and achieve international leadership.

• Train next-generation brain/data scientists and address Québec’s growing need for highly skilled personnel.

• Promote equity, diversity and inclusion in research and training within AI and neuroscience.
